Job Description
CIMA+’s Transportation team has built a reputation for excellence in delivering municipal and transportation infrastructure projects. As a Project Manager, Municipal and Transportation Design, you will lead, plan, design, and tender various municipal and transportation projects while collaborating with a dynamic team in Burlington, ON. This hybrid role offers flexible work hours with a base in the Burlington office.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage transportation projects on local, collector or arterial roads including schedules, budgets, and quality control.
- Design and prepare contracts for urban/rural road construction and reconstruction projects.
- Supervise project design, guide technical staff, liaise with clients, and review technical documents.
- Coordinate with government and regulatory authorities for permit approvals.
- Maintain client relationships and support business development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of project delivery experience, including 5 years in transportation and municipal design in Ontario.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) and PEO membership.
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline designs and construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Microstation/OpenRoads, Office 365, and MS Project is an asset.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
