About the Role

Ciklum is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania. In this role, you will be a key part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will work for a world-leading professional services organization, developing innovative software products for clients in the consumer sector by designing, developing, and implementing multi-agent AI solutions to interpret structured data and derive domain-specific insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an agile team to design, develop, and implement a multi-agent AI solution.
• Utilize Python, LangChain, and LangGraph to build and integrate AI models.
• Work with large language models (LLMs) to process and analyze data from SQL databases and CSV/Parquet files.
• Ensure AI agents interpret data sets and curated third-party data to derive insights.
• Develop AI agents to match skills and responses of functional experts.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and AI implementation quality.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and project progress.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Proven experience in Python programming in AI and machine learning contexts.
• Strong proficiency with LangGraph, LangChain, and applications in AI development.
• Hands-on experience working with large language models (LLMs) for data interpretation.
• Experience or familiarity with ReAct agent, multi-agents, and RAG (vector DBs, multi-source RAG).
• Familiarity with structured data handling including SQL databases and CSV/Parquet files.
• Ability to thrive in an agile team environment with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

Desirable Skills

• Previous similar role experience in an agile development team.
• Knowledge of additional AI frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with emerging agentic AI frameworks (AutoGPT, BabyAGI, etc.).
