About the Role

The Automation Engineer Analyst at Cigna Healthcare will be responsible for ensuring quality and timely delivery of test planning, test data preparation, and execution activities. This role involves both automation and manual/functional testing, working closely with the Scrum Team and business colleagues to continuously improve test automation capabilities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate test execution activities (manual and automated).
  • Build and maintain automation for critical and complex business applications.
  • Create and execute test automation scripts for in-sprint and regression testing.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI & Sprint planning.
  • Track and report automation progress in line with PI plans.
  • Utilize new automation tools and develop custom automation solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline execution and DevOps opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in QE Test Automation.
  • Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
  • REST API testing experience using Postman and Java.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and BDD processes.
  • Experience in accessibility testing and using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and SAFe framework.
  • Solid communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
