Overview
Cigna International Health is modernizing its portal and self-service application to support global health business expansion. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive front-end development of high-quality web and mobile solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Guide the front-end discipline, implement engineering strategies, and own mobile application development aligned with product vision.
Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Project Delivery: Execute projects on time using TDD methodology, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Architecture and Development: Guide design principles and collaborate with senior leads for scalable, secure and efficient solutions.
Operational Efficiency: Implement DevSecOps practices to optimize engineering operations.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years senior software development experience in mobile applications with strong technical and leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, source code management, and automation best practices.
Technologies: Proficient in React Native, TypeScript, mobile testing (App Store and Play Store), API integration with token based security, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bamboo CI. Experience with agile methodologies is required.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
