About Senior IT Project Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will manage large, cross-portfolio programs and projects from end-to-end. You will lead a team of internal and external stakeholders as well as technology partners, ensuring projects meet established budgets and timelines.

  • Manage enterprise services and solutions for personal and small business banking clients.
  • Oversee project financials, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with sponsors, vendors, and application owners.
  • Operate within complex Banking IT ecosystems and architectures.
  • Communicate project status to senior management and executive leaders.

How You’ll Succeed

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating business strategy into approved project plans.
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
  • Leading cross-functional teams through the full Software Delivery Life Cycle.
  • Utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies as required.
  • Ensuring clear communication in governance meetings.

Who You Are

You have 6-8 years of progressive Technical Project Management experience, preferably within the banking industry. With a background in Application Development and a strong understanding of the complex technical landscape, you have managed projects from inception to release. PMP certification is an asset, and you value trust, teamwork, and accountability.
