Associate RPA Developer at CI Financial

This hybrid opportunity within CI Financial's Automation Practice seeks a passionate individual to join as an Associate RPA Developer, responsible for leading, supporting, and executing projects that drive transformation initiatives. This role will support the Robotic Process Automation team through analysis, design, development, and support activities.
You will collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, and Business teams to capture requirements, streamline, and automate processes. This role will also partner with Infrastructure and Change Management Teams on production support and maintenance of existing automated solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing team that embraces agile values, optimizes efficiency, and delivers impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust automation processes leveraging RPA (UiPath) and IDP Technology.
- Accountable for the development of new or significant changes/enhancements to RPA processes.
- Support initiatives led by operational excellence managers, business managers, or service partners, relating to streamlining processes and providing data and analytics.
- Responsible for mentoring junior staff and providing support and assistance to members of the RPA team.
- Conduct solution design walkthroughs and code reviews with the team and appropriate stakeholders.
- Ownership of specific changes to enhance RPA or as lead assigned to projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with members of the development and QA teams to review requirements and implement solutions.
- Coordinate activities and document results related to quality assurance, end-user acceptance testing, and post-implementation verification.
- Coordinate with the Production Support team to ensure bots deployed in Production are running as expected.
- Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices across the RPA team.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience developing RPA solutions with UiPath.
- Developing solutions using UiPath Studio, Robotic Enterprise Framework.
- Strong understanding of automation workflows, selectors, and exception handling in UiPath.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, VB.NET, or C# is a plus.
- Experience working with Intelligent Document Processing Tools like Hyperscience, Abby, UiPath Document Understanding.
- Experience with SQL databases and API Integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an Agile environment.
Nice To Have
- Understanding of UiPath upgrade to version 22 or later.
- Worked on Dev/Ops and CI/CD pipeline using tools like GitHub or Bitbucket, Jenkins.
- Understanding of programming languages such as C#, Vb.net, JSON Scripting.
- UiPath Certifications.
Education/Training
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
Working Conditions
This role offers a hybrid work environment in an innovative and collaborative setting. It follows an in-office work model requiring employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $95,000 CAD. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget, and may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program. CI Financial offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, many of which are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
