Assistant Bureau de la Présidence - Internship at Christie's

The atmosphere in a Christie's auction room is always electric, with bids escalating rapidly before the final hammer falls – a daily scene witnessed worldwide.

Your Department

Christie's France is seeking a full-time intern for a 6-month period, from early July to late December 2026. Integrated within the Presidency team, you will undertake varied missions that will evolve with the house's projects and current events, offering a unique insight into the luxury art market.

Your Missions

  • Conduct research on clients or partners ahead of specific events or projects.
  • Prepare the President's future presentations and interventions.
  • Assist the President on business getting initiatives, including document preparation, participation in inventories, and potential client contact.
  • Liaise effectively with specialists from the Paris office and international teams.
  • Provide administrative support to the President's colleague, with whom you will share an office.
  • Prepare notes and correspondence for the President.
  • Make occasional trips within Paris to collect books or other gifts.
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance to the General Manager (internal presentations, travel arrangements, meetings, lunches, etc.).
  • Conduct media monitoring for the President and her colleague.
  • Occasionally assist the Business Development teams.

Your Profile

Education

You are a student in M1/M2 at a business school or IEP (Institut d'Études Politiques).

Experience

You have prior experience, preferably a long-term internship, and a general knowledge of the art market will be highly appreciated. You are fluent in English and proficient in IT tools.

Your Work Environment

  • Stipend: 800 euros gross per month.
  • Restaurant tickets: 10 euros per day (5 euros covered by Christie's).
  • Transportation costs reimbursement: 50%.
  • Internship location: 9 avenue Matignon 75008 Paris.
  • Internship agreement: Must be obtained through your academic program for a full-time internship, Monday to Friday.
