Position Summary: PR Trainee, Entertainment Relations
The Dior Corporate Trainee program is designed to identify and develop future talent across various functional areas within the organization. As a PR Trainee, Entertainment Relations, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Public Relations team, specifically focusing on VIP and Entertainment Relations across Women’s, Men’s, and Couture categories. This involves comprehensive support in reporting and sample trafficking.
Working closely with your assigned department, you will contribute to both the organization’s short-term administrative needs and long-term project work. Trainees from different departments will also collaborate on initiatives to improve business results, culminating in a project presentation to the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate weekly press reports and press clippings for celebrity categories from print and online publications.
- Collaborate with the entertainment relations team to fulfill dressing requests and coordinate fittings for womenswear and menswear.
- Develop monthly “covers” press reports for all categories.
- Manage social media press reviews.
- Compile “industry news” reports to keep the team informed.
- Oversee sample trafficking for VIP requests, covering womenswear and menswear.
- Provide assistance during PR events and fashion shows, including managing RSVPs and compiling dressing lists for alignment and visibility.
- Coordinate celebrity and influencer stylings and fittings (VIP).
- Maintain impeccable showroom and closet organization and presentation.
- Coordinate and track international and domestic shipping of samples and gifts.
- Coordinate gifting strategies and manage send-outs.
- Track VIP placements for comprehensive reporting.
- Manage logistics, including shipping and receiving samples for editorials and celebrity fittings.
- Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of prior experience in a relevant field.
- Availability for a full-time, 12-month program, specifically from July 2026 through July 2027.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent follow-through practices.
- Demonstrated good judgment, high level of maturity, and discretion when interacting with celebrities and the press.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with both internal and external groups.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, capable of working under specific timelines and in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with Fashion GPS is required.
Compensation & Benefits
The appointed candidate will receive a salary of $20 per hour. This position may also include eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
