Role Overview
The Senior Sales Manager at Chips&Media is responsible for direct and indirect sales of video codec IP within the U.S. semiconductor industry, primarily focusing on the North American market.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and close new business opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
- Develop deep market understanding and critical success factors.
- Manage and expand key customer relationships, especially at Director and VP levels.
- Communicate customer technical needs back to the Headquarters in Korea.
- Create strategic sales plans in collaboration with HQ marketing & sales team.
- Promote and license a full range of multimedia IP products.
- Monitor competitive products and provide market feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in the Semiconductor or Semiconductor IP field.
- Ability to understand complex technical data and communicate it clearly.
- Proven sales or business development skills with a track record in closing opportunities.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Valuable US SoC network from designer level to top decision makers.
- Experience with multimedia IP or SoC is a strong plus.
