Role Overview

The Senior Sales Manager at Chips&Media is responsible for direct and indirect sales of video codec IP within the U.S. semiconductor industry, primarily focusing on the North American market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find and close new business opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
  • Develop deep market understanding and critical success factors.
  • Manage and expand key customer relationships, especially at Director and VP levels.
  • Communicate customer technical needs back to the Headquarters in Korea.
  • Create strategic sales plans in collaboration with HQ marketing & sales team.
  • Promote and license a full range of multimedia IP products.
  • Monitor competitive products and provide market feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Semiconductor or Semiconductor IP field.
  • Ability to understand complex technical data and communicate it clearly.
  • Proven sales or business development skills with a track record in closing opportunities.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Valuable US SoC network from designer level to top decision makers.
  • Experience with multimedia IP or SoC is a strong plus.
