Job Description

About The Role: Product Manager, Internal AI at Chime

The Chimer Productivity team at Chime is dedicated to accelerating the company's pace of innovation by making AI a trusted co-pilot for every Chimer. As a Product Manager, Internal AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how Chime operates. This involves designing intelligent systems and experiences that leverage AI to make work faster, smarter, and more human.

Your core responsibility will be productizing AI within Chime’s operations. This entails identifying high-value workflows across the company and seamlessly embedding AI directly into them. Examples range from automating documentation and accelerating decision-making to powering proactive insights. Your efforts will ensure that Chimers benefit from AI not merely through a separate tool, but because their existing tools and processes are inherently smarter.

You will collaborate closely with various Chime teams to design scalable, secure, and measurable AI solutions that enhance how Chime builds products, serves members, and manages its business. This role requires a blend of product vision, technical depth, and systems thinking to help Chime operate as a next-generation company where AI is integral to the daily work fabric.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the roadmap for embedded AI experiences across internal operations, ensuring AI delivers seamless value within existing systems and workflows.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to productize AI, collaborating with cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas where automation, insight, or augmentation will yield the highest business impact.
  • Design and launch AI-powered features and services that make core Chime processes faster, more reliable, and more efficient, encompassing build workflows, risk reviews, and analytics summaries.
  • Partner with Engineering Services and Data teams to integrate LLMs, automation, and agentic systems into core Chime infrastructure.
  • Create feedback loops and measurement frameworks to track the ROI and adoption of AI-powered improvements across teams.
  • Collaborate with AI Enablement to ensure embedded AI solutions align with governance, privacy, and ethical standards.
  • Champion human-centered AI design, ensuring AI empowers Chimers to focus on creativity, strategy, and decision-making, rather than administrative tasks.
  • Act as a cross-functional multiplier, helping business, product, and engineering leaders reimagine the possibilities when AI is integrated into everyday operations.
  • Work with Chimer Productivity to ensure smooth change management and successful rollout of new solutions throughout the company.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or platform product roles, with a preference for experience in internal tools, workflow automation, or AI-driven systems.
  • A proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable, productized solutions.
  • Strong understanding of applied AI and automation, including how to integrate LLMs, APIs, and agentic systems into real workflows.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with engineering, data, and operations teams to deliver features that enhance company-wide productivity.
  • A systems mindset, enabling you to identify patterns across processes and design solutions that scale beyond a single team or use case.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence executive stakeholders across both technical and non-technical domains.
  • A deep curiosity for organizational dynamics and how intelligence can be embedded to improve operational efficiency.
  • A Builder mindset, challenging traditional software development and envisioning the future of AI-driven product development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building AI-enabled internal platforms or intelligent automation systems.
  • Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools, prompt engineering, and AI agent design.
