About the Role
The Physician Assistant - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) plays a vital role in treating critically ill pediatric patients. Within a 38-bed CICU, you will assess complex cases, perform therapeutic interventions, manage patient care plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
What You Will Do
- Assess acute, critical, and chronic pediatric patients.
- Utilize data to formulate and modify care plans.
- Perform therapeutic interventions and stabilize patients.
- Serve as an educational resource and preceptor.
- Engage in scholarly activities and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Physician Assistant (Required), Master's preferred.
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) license for Pennsylvania or New Jersey and national certification.
- Minimum 2 years ICU and/or critical care experience.
- Proficient with electronic health records and clinical communication systems.
- Strong inter-professional teamwork skills.

Compensation
Salary range: $115,060 - $152,450 annually. An additional $20,000 bonus is offered to eligible Advanced Practice Providers.
