A Brief Overview
Participates in activities with the Clinical Research Team in support of one or more clinical research studies and to gain a better understanding of protocols, issues, and project developments.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the recruitment and consent of parents and children.
- Responsible for data collection through study participant interviews & screenings.
- Analyzes data through the use of memos, coding, and qualitative analytic software.
- Assist in preparation of materials to submit for IRB approval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and professional research papers.
- Renders age-appropriate care & services based on the patient and/or their developmental needs.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
Experience Qualifications
- 1 prior internship or paid experience on clinical research Required
Skills and Abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in an organized fashion, work well with others.
- Good attention to detail.
- General knowledge and understanding of good clinical practice (GCP).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications desirable.
- Demonstrates the knowledge & ability to render age-appropriate care & services based on the patient and/or their developmental needs.
