Cloud Computing Specialist - Journeyman
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one. Cherokee Nation System Solutions, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable Cloud Computing Specialist - Journeyman - Web Application Developer to join an agile product delivery team. The role focuses on building cloud native solutions while balancing security, financial, architectural, and mission impacts with an emphasis on front end development for cloud-based systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $95,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and additional benefits as provided.
Responsibilities
- Document user stories based on product owner requirements and backlog
- Ingest and visualize data sets from various sources
- Elicit and document data requirements and SDLC records
- Support user acceptance testing with stakeholders
- Develop cloud-based applications using AWS native tooling including Python, JavaScript, API Development, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Glue, SageMaker, Cognito, RDS, S3, CodePipeline, Fargate, DataZone, and GitHub Enterprise
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools and open source resources
- Participate in agile software development and perform additional tasks as needed
Experience, Education, Skills & Abilities
Requires a BS/BA in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 2 to 4 years of full-time professional experience. Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
