Overview
The Sourcing Manager Indirect Office at Chemtrade is a full-time role located remotely in the US or Canada with travel requirements (20-25%). Reporting to the Senior Category Leader, Capital & Indirect, this position is essential for managing procurement across various indirect office categories including Travel & Expense, IT Services, Uniforms, Printers, Leases, Professional Services, HR Services, Office Services and Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply strategies for assigned spend categories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in manufacturing, engineering, and business units.
- Lead negotiation of contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Perform complex RFx exercises and analyze spend data using ERP systems.
- Drive cost improvement opportunities and support Chemtrade’s productivity program.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business, or commerce is preferred with 5-10+ years of progressive sourcing experience in US and Canada. Experience negotiating multi-site agreements, strong analytical skills using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerBI, and proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) is required. A valid driver license and willingness to travel nationally and internationally is necessary.
