About the Team/Role

The Director, Financial & People Systems is a proven leader responsible for evaluating, developing, integrating, and implementing systems to support Revenue and Customer business functions. This role is within Checkr’s Corporate Engineering organization and collaborates closely with FinOps and People Operations teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with FinOps and People Operations to define the system roadmap.
  • Lead teams in gathering and executing detailed business requirements.
  • Oversee development, integration, and implementation of systems solutions.
  • Ensure projects adhere to infrastructure architecture standards, efficiency, and security protocols.
  • Define selection processes for third-party applications including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Coordinate delivery of uninterrupted IT services and risk mitigation controls.

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership in Financial and People systems teams.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Workday, and related applications.
  • Strong ability to identify and track KPIs.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, management, or related field.
