About the Role

Check Point Software is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Email Security Team - Avanan. In this role, you will provide technical support for our Harmony Email & Collaboration solution (HEC) and help deliver excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support via phone and remote session
  • Manage ticket queue and provide daily updates (Jira, Zendesk)
  • Document troubleshooting steps and communication in ticketing systems
  • Draft knowledge base and Stack Overflow articles
  • Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written

Qualifications

  • Experience in Python and Bash scripting
  • SQL querying skills
  • Support experience with SaaS-based products
  • Familiarity with ticket/case management systems like Jira and Zendesk
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to manage time and priorities autonomously
  • Passion for technology and IT security

Additional Assets

  • Experience with Linux and email security/mail flow
  • Knowledge of Office365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory or ADFS
  • Understanding of HTTP/S, SMTP, DNS, LDAP or similar protocols
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the country applied to
  • Team player attitude and continuous learning mindset
