Overview

The Regional HR Generalist role at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is a full-time, remote position serving the New England region. You will work to achieve strategic, tactical, and administrative HR objectives aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to management and assist with on-site investigations.
  • Partner across HR functions to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Handle employment inquiries and manage sensitive matters effectively.
  • Champion Diversity & Inclusion and support learning and development programs.
  • Participate in manager meetings, training sessions, and HR visibility initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance in a multi-state, unionized environment.
  • Travel up to 25%-30% as required.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in human resources within a multi-state, multi-unit environment are required. Experience in labor relations in a unionized environment is preferred. HR professional certification is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software is expected. The candidate must be self-directed, flexible, resilient, and capable of handling complex employee relations with high integrity and confidentiality.
