Role Overview: Engagement Manager, Chartis Oncology Solutions
Chartis Oncology Solutions is the largest oncology dedicated advisory practice in the industry. With more than 50 years of experience, COS has served over 3,000 clients. We work across the oncology continuum with focus on strategy and partnerships, operational improvement and organizational transformation, and research strategy and program development.
Engagement Managers are integral members of our consulting teams, leading Analysts, Associate Consultants and Consultants on projects with healthcare provider clients typically spanning 3-6 months in duration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the problem-solving process and day-to-day management of engagement teams, including overseeing teams’ analysis and deliverables, often in the context of larger, more complex engagements
- Manage the overall project, balancing work effort and input from clients and colleagues to achieve goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights
- Coach and mentor junior staff, rapidly developing their skills and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model
- Create sophisticated, compelling deliverables that motivate clients to action
- Support the firm’s growth through contributions to talent initiatives, thought leadership development, and other areas
Qualifications And Desired Skills
- At least 6 years of experience working with healthcare providers, including 2+ years managing others
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to share insights in a way that motivates clients to action
- Strong people leader, adept at managing team’s work while developing colleagues’ capabilities
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
- Strong entrepreneurial drive
- Motivated and driven by mission; genuinely seeks to materially impact healthcare for the better
- Ability to travel as required
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $168,000-$192,000, plus, may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
