At Charles Schwab, the Zero Trust Architect role empowers a seasoned cybersecurity professional to drive network security strategy and zero trust architecture designed for large complex systems. You will work on-site and collaborate with various technology and security teams in the Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS) within the Office of CISO.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive architectural vision for Zero Trust aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Develop and implement robust network security architectures including segmentation, zero trust, and platform resiliency.
- Collaborate with product and project teams to address security control gaps.
- Translate high-level design into deployable solutions ensuring secure connectivity and service availability.

What You Bring
- Minimum 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in financial services.
- Expertise in network security strategies, core security principles, and advanced technology solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Zero Trust concepts, Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, and related security tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence C-level executives.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, and TOGAF preferred.
