Job Overview
Charles Schwab is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Risk Manager responsible for leading and managing AI-related security risks within our cybersecurity organization. Reporting to the Director of AI Security Risk Management, this role ensures the safe and responsible use of AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with AI systems
- Design and implement controls to mitigate AI-related risks
- Ensure adherence to policies and external regulations
- Support audits and regulatory examinations
- Develop key risk indicators and metrics
- Report to senior leadership on AI risk trends
- Stay current with emerging AI threats and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field and 7+ years of experience in technology risk/cybersecurity, including 2+ years focused on AI/ML systems. Must have knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle, model governance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the financial industry.
Preferred Certifications
CRISC, CISSP, CISM or equivalent and AI-specific certifications.
