Position Overview
In the role of Economics Consulting Analyst/Associate, candidates will collaborate with diverse professionals including PhD-trained economists, CFAs, CPAs, and valuation experts. You will conduct economic and industry research, perform financial analyses and valuation modelling, and support case theories. Programming and regression analysis using Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS is key, along with data review from various sources like financial reports and industry data. Tasks also include summarizing analyst reports, academic literature, and developing expert reports and visuals.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating December 2025/Summer 2026 with a quantitative research focus.
- Completion of an honors thesis or similar research program is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, and familiarity with data analytics tools is required.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and initiative are essential.
- Clear interest in consulting through coursework, activities, or events.
