The Role: Gamification Program Manager
Channel Impact is seeking a Gamification Program Manager to become a key member of our events team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the development of a sophisticated, end-to-end game strategy for our client’s Sales Kickoff events. You will also play a crucial part in bringing the overall XD (eXperience Design) strategy to fruition. Working closely with our internal teams, business partners, and content stakeholders, you will help deliver fresh, engaging, and attendee-ready experiences.
This is a full-time, salaried position offering comprehensive benefits for a remote worker located within the United States.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop Gamification Strategy: Define and execute a creative vision for event gamification, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales team engagement goals.
- Program Management: Manage the gamification timeline, understanding how its milestones impact other workstreams such as technology/platform development and communications.
- Lead Multidisciplinary Teams: Inspire and guide UI/UX designers, game designers, and event specialists, fostering innovation and collaborative efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design Engaging Systems: Create compelling gameplay mechanics, competitive elements, and reward structures that make event participation fun, motivating, and memorable.
- Oversee User Experience: Ensure the development of intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences to maximize attendee satisfaction.
- Analyze & Iterate: Gather participant feedback and thoroughly analyze engagement data to continuously refine and improve gamified elements.
- Ensure Seamless Execution: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of gamification strategies, guaranteeing that all elements are delivered smoothly and integrated flawlessly into the overall event experience.
XD Support Responsibilities
- Creative Development: Lead the design of experiential components, including new innovation elements, Partner Hub design, and networking opportunities, in collaboration with third-party business partners.
- Program Management: Manage the timeline for XD components, understanding how milestones impact other workstream milestones, such as technology/platform and communications.
- Seamless Execution: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of these experiences, ensuring all elements are delivered smoothly and integrated flawlessly into the overall event experience.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in game design, gamification, or related fields, with a proven record of delivering successful, engaging experiences.
- Experience in designing systems, mechanics, and engagement strategies.
- Strong creative instincts balanced with analytical thinking and participant insight.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both creative and technical partners.
- Familiarity with modern design tools and platforms.
- Passion for innovation and creating memorable experiences.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
