Job Description

Assistant Client Engagement Project Manager Intern, France Market at CHANEL

The France & Monaco Market is responsible for the distribution of Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewelry, and Fragrance & Beauty collections.

The Fragrance & Beauty business asserts its uniqueness through a promise: to reveal the beauty of each woman in what is most singular about her, through her fragrance, her makeup, her skincare product. It is the obsession with detail and the pursuit of perfection that makes the encounter between CHANEL and its clients a magical moment.

Within the Wholesale Fragrance & Beauty France Directorate, under the responsibility of the Client Engagement Project Manager, you will contribute to the coordination and animation of CHANEL brand support actions in points of sale across various retailers. You will provide support to the Field, Trade Marketing, and Headquarters teams to enhance operational excellence and client engagement.

1/ Coordination of Local Wholesale Activations

  • Anticipate and coordinate local Wholesale activations in conjunction with the Trade Marketing teams.
  • Operational follow-up of the event services plan (PSE) with the Field teams, managing reservations and monitoring.
  • Creation of reporting matrices and global synthesis of local and national activations (KPI performance tracking, analyses, and data vigilance via Power BI).
  • Analysis of operation reports and consolidation of learnings with the Trade teams.
  • Proposing tools to support the sales force and optimizing processes.

2/ Optimization & Prioritization of Information for Wholesale Field Teams

  • Consolidate and prioritize information intended for Wholesale Field and Department Store teams, in conjunction with various headquarters departments.
  • Responsible for the Weekly Wholesale Newsletter: collecting needs, prioritizing messages, and 'for action' field items for weekly dispatch.
  • Management and content supply for the Coco France news feed and SharePoint to highlight field achievements to headquarters and other cross-functional teams.
  • Being the primary contact for field teams for their scope of subjects.

3/ Animation of Wholesale Instances and Project Support

  • Provide support to the Client Engagement Project Manager and the Client Engagement intern, facilitating coordination between field teams and headquarters on various ad hoc projects, in collaboration with involved departments (Marketing, CRM, Training, Media, PR, Trade, or other European markets).
  • Participation in the preparation of analyses and presentations for Sales Force Seminars.
  • Assisting with the operational organization of Wholesale Committees, Zone Meetings, and other instances.

Candidate Profile

You are pursuing a higher education degree (BAC+4/BAC+5) and demonstrate a strong interest in field operations, as well as a good understanding of the Fragrance & Beauty universe. Dynamic, with good interpersonal skills, you are recognized for your rigor, organizational qualities, and service orientation. You have a taste and aptitude for numbers and possess excellent synthesis abilities. You show open-mindedness, autonomy, and a naturally helpful and collaborative attitude. You master office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, without difficulty. Fluent French is required.
