The Security Team

The Security Team safeguards Chainlink Labs and its assets using advanced security engineering, cutting-edge technologies, forward-thinking policies, and comprehensive training.

About The Role

The Security Engineer, Product Security role involves designing secure and scalable architectures, building security tools, and collaborating on new systems to protect Chainlink and the Web3 ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Build security tools and controls for company-wide deployment.
  • Design, develop, and deploy core security features for public Chainlink products.
  • Define processes and systems that deter and detect attacks.
  • Collaborate on engineering projects ensuring security is fundamental.
  • Help shape and achieve broader company security goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in Go or Rust.
  • Background in a security related function.
  • Experience building security software or securing enterprise systems.
  • Comfort with *nix operating systems including macOS.
  • Adaptability to a fast-changing tech environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Solidity writing or auditing.
  • Experience in auditing or securing frontends (React, NPM).
  • Strong understanding of cryptography and related protocols.
  • Familiarity with security analysis tools and frameworks.
  • Enthusiasm for Ethereum and EVM compatible networks.
  • Experience working on open source software with GitHub history.

Work Arrangement

This is a global, remote-based role with some overlapping working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
