The Security Team
The security department safeguards Chainlink Labs’ people and assets against both external and internal threats through specialized security engineering, advanced technologies, forward-thinking policies, and robust training programs.
About The Role
The Security Engineer Product Security will design and advise on secure, scalable architectures and develop novel systems to protect Chainlink and the Web3 ecosystem. This role involves shaping the security of next-generation Web3 products and infrastructure.
What You Will Do
- Build security tools and controls deployed across the company.
- Design, develop, and deploy core security features for public Chainlink products.
- Define new processes to make network attacks hard to execute and easy to detect.
- Engage with upcoming engineering and non-engineering projects to integrate security.
- Shape and achieve the company’s broader security goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Go or Rust.
- Experience in a security-related function.
- Proven record building security software or securing enterprise systems.
- Comfortable with Unix operating systems including macOS.
- Adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience writing or auditing Solidity.
- Experience auditing or securing frontends (React, NPM).
- Strong understanding of cryptography including TLS, FIDO, and public key cryptography.
- Familiarity with security analysis tooling and frameworks.
- Experience in Ethereum or other EVM compatible networks.
- Proven open source work with a verifiable GitHub history.
Work Arrangement
This is a global remote role with some overlap required with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
