Champion Growth as a Business Development Leader - Generation & Energy Management
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a forward-thinking, relationship-driven Business Development Leader to join our Generation & Energy Management Team, working remotely. This role offers the opportunity to influence market direction, elevate CHA’s presence, and drive energy transformation across the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic growth efforts within the Generation & Energy Management market.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities across MUSH, Utilities, Federal, and Aviation sectors.
- Manage client database (CRM), generate leads, and maintain an opportunity pipeline.
- Develop compelling content for social media, proposals, conferences, and marketing campaigns.
- Represent CHA at industry conferences and foster industry connections.
- Collaborate with leadership teams on proposal development.
- Provide market updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consulting, business development, sales, or a related role within the target markets.
- Expert understanding of State and/or Utility energy efficiency programs and renewable energy initiatives.
- Experience working with engineering firms, contract manufacturers, or renewables solutions providers.
- Proven experience writing and leading proposals.
- Strong industry network and active involvement in professional conferences.
- Exceptional communication skills, persuasive and engaging across all audiences.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business value.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, securing long-term contracts, and expanding market share.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and balance multiple priorities.

Salary Range
$175,000 - $225,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
