Role Overview:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and evolution of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across multi-cloud environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Drive Kubernetes platform architecture and operations (AKS, EKS, GKE), including cluster design, networking, autoscaling, upgrades, and governance.
- Implement GitOps frameworks using ArgoCD or Flux for automated, declarative deployments.
- Develop automation for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, patching, and container orchestration.
- Ensure environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) follow security, compliance, and best-practice configuration standards.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, networking, storage, serverless, and PaaS components.
- Own observability strategy: logs, metrics, traces using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Implement SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, playbooks, and automated incident remediation.
- Champion DevSecOps by integrating code scanning, container security, secrets management, and policy-as-code (OPA, Conftest).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, security, development, architecture) to accelerate software delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, pipeline, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud issues.
- Provide best practices for versioning, branching strategy, release management, and rollback strategies.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and improve team capabilities through training, documentation, and standards.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization for cloud resources.
Required Skills & Experience
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, pipeline, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud issues.
- Provide best practices for versioning, branching strategy, release management, and rollback strategies.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and improve team capabilities through training, documentation, and standards.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization for cloud resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, networking, storage, serverless, and PaaS components.
- Champion DevSecOps by integrating code scanning, container security, secrets management, and policy-as-code (OPA, Conftest).
