Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in scripting, automation, and modern DevOps practices. This individual contributor role demands deep technical expertise in building scalable infrastructure, automating CI/CD pipelines, and managing containerized environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to drive delivery excellence and ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps toolchains and infrastructure.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Develop and troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Write structured, reusable automation scripts in Python, Shell, Batch, and Groovy.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters via Rancher across on-prem and Azure environments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Apply and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability remediation.
- Research and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies.
- Collaborate using Git, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot for script generation and refactoring.
- Support incident response, deployments, and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) or MCA with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools and practices.
- Cloud & Containerization: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes (via Rancher)
- IaC & Automation: Terraform, Ansible, Helm
- Scripting Languages: Python, Shell, Groovy, Batch
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- Version Control & Collaboration: Git, JIRA, Confluence
Good To Have:
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
