Job Summary:

CGI is seeking a Risk Analyst L2 with expertise in Oracle, PLSQL, and Unix to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves ensuring the accurate calculation of critical risk measures for investment banking clients, maintaining data integrity, and providing support for risk systems. You will collaborate with various teams to resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to the timely delivery of risk reports and analyses.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of investment banking flows and business operations.
  • Accurate calculation of capital measures like VaR, stress VaR, IRC, CRM, and counterparty risk exposure.
  • Timely re-calibration of models and performance of back-testing for capital declarations.
  • Accurate calculation of credit value adjustments and market risk reserves impacting P&L.
  • Timely provision of stress testing and Greeks for limit monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensuring users receive the agreed level of service.
  • Responsible for checking data integrity within the system.
  • Researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting functional/data issues.
  • Understanding KPI reporting and preparing accurate, timely reports.
  • Providing first-level explanations for risk metrics levels and movements.
  • Appropriate and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with team leaders, project leads, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
  • Functional/Business Support experience with an awareness of Market and Counterparty RISK.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on application support experience.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment.
