Information Security Associate
Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking a motivated Information Security Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT operations. This role supports daily security operations, monitoring, and compliance and plays a key part in building and maturing the in-house SOC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone progressing early in their cybersecurity career.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring security alerts, analyzing events, and escalating as needed.
- Support SOC operations including log analysis, alert triage, and threat monitoring.
- Help conduct vulnerability scans and remediation follow-up.
- Assist in managing security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, email security, etc.).
- Contribute to security incident handling and documentation.
- Support user access management and privileged access reviews.
- Assist in maintaining security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities and phishing simulations.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools.Strong analytical skills and eagerness to grow in the cybersecurity field.
Education, Training, and Experience
2–4 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT operations.Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.Entry-level certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CySA+ preferred.
