About the Role: Talent Acquisition Partner at Cetera Financial Group

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Cetera Financial Group, you will own the full recruitment process, from initial intake discussions to successful hires. You'll collaborate closely with aligned leaders and business partners to attract and secure top talent across the market. Leveraging your strong networking skills, recruiting expertise, and deep market knowledge, you will cultivate lasting relationships with both internal stakeholders and candidates. This role provides an opportunity to innovate processes and procedures, contributing to the evolution of recruiting at Cetera Financial Group. This is a 3-month temporary position based in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, working in close partnership with stakeholders, business partners, and hiring managers.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job description development, strategy discussions, candidate contact and qualification, presentation of candidates, interview scheduling, and offer guidance/preparation/negotiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through exceptional service and professional, responsive communication.
  • Proactively source passive candidates using employee referrals, networking, internal and external databases, and innovative research tactics.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates for both technical and cultural fit.
  • Develop proactive recruitment strategies to address future business needs, support internal mobility, and facilitate succession planning.
  • Cultivate and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and prospective hiring requirements.
  • Ensure applicant records are consistently updated in the applicant tracking system (Oracle Recruiting Cloud - ORC) throughout the selection phase.
  • Consistently apply HR and recruitment best practices, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, special recruitment projects, and broader team efforts aimed at building a best-in-class talent acquisition organization.

What You Need To Have

  • 5+ years of full-life cycle recruitment experience with a proven track record of successfully identifying and placing top candidates.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven approach, proficient in using MS Excel.
  • Unimpeachable ethical standards and an innate ability to build trust.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong direct sourcing and networking skills.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.

What Will Catch Our Eye

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) or Taleo is highly desired.
  • Prior recruitment experience in both agency and internal corporate settings.
  • Proven ability to proactively develop and maintain a successful candidate pipeline.
  • Specific recruitment experience within the financial services industry.
  • Successful corporate recruiting experience supporting multiple sites across the U.S.
  • Specialized sourcing experience within the financial industry.
