About the Blockchain Security Expert - AI Track Role
As a Blockchain Security Expert - AI Track at CertiK, your primary mission will be to lead the pioneering development of an intelligent AI agent, powered by large language models (LLMs). This agent will significantly enhance our existing security audit tools within the dynamic blockchain space. You will work in close collaboration with our dedicated blockchain security team, bridging cutting-edge academic research with practical, real-world applications. Your core efforts will involve developing, rigorously testing, and meticulously optimizing LLM-driven AI agents specifically designed to automatically analyze smart contracts and pinpoint potential vulnerabilities. This role offers an immersive experience in research and experimentation, where you will continuously explore novel methodologies to improve threat detection and risk assessment capabilities within our robust security audit platform, thereby directly contributing to the establishment of more secure blockchain infrastructures globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the blockchain security team to develop and integrate an LLM-based AI agent into security audit tools.
- Experiment with innovative AI techniques to significantly enhance threat detection and risk assessment within blockchain environments.
- Actively assist in the transformation of cutting-edge research on AI agents into practical, scalable, and highly effective security auditing solutions.
- Continuously research emerging trends in large language models (LLMs), AI agent architectures, and the broader cybersecurity landscape, proactively proposing and implementing improvements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher, with a strong preference for a science or engineering field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in security or software development.
- Demonstrated familiarity with blockchain and smart contract technologies.
- Experience with agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Cline.
- Possess strong, creative problem-solving skills and an eager willingness to continuously learn, embrace new technologies, and foster collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research or project experience specifically in developing AI agents or automated security analysis tools.
- A proven ability to translate complex research insights into effective, production-ready tools.
- Prior knowledge and understanding of web3 security audits.
- Hands-on blockchain experience, including evaluating risks for blockchain projects or analyzing on-chain security events.
Compensation & Benefits
For roles performed in the US, the target annual compensation ranges from $120,000 to $180,000, with exact compensation determined by the candidate's skills and experience.
