Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Associate is responsible for performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner following company safety standards and performing routine cleaning, inspecting and minor maintenance on equipment. Is This Job For You?

A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To:

• Be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Possess a minimum grade 12 education and some post-secondary education is preferred.
• Be a team player and perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Be able to learn to operate automated plant manufacturing equipment.
• Interact, communicate and work effectively and professionally with all employees and management staff in a team-oriented environment.
• Spend a significant amount of time on the plant floor.
• Perform tasks that require walking, bending, twisting, gripping, stair climbing, lifting, and entering confined spaces.
• Wear personal protective equipment necessary to comply with government and company safety standards.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $21.85 per hour.

Additional Pay Incentives For This Role Include:

• Sun Life Benefit package kicks in after 4 months.
• After 1,000 hours worked: Rate increases to $25.19 per hour (Packer Flex progression).
• After 3,000 hours worked OR 18 months of service: Rate increases to $27.55 per hour (Packer classification).
• Night Shift premium $1.70 per hour.
• Weekend premium $0.30 per hour.
