Contract Manager Responsibilities
Century Communities is seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, from drafting and negotiation to execution and administration. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong legal acumen, and excellent communication skills.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, construction contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including tracking key dates, renewals, and expirations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure contract alignment.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Maintain organized and accurate contract records.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on contract-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract management, legal, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract law and principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
