Overview of the Manager of Investment Administration Role

This role, reporting to the Director, Investor Relations, ensures accurate, timely, and compliant execution of investment administration activities. It supports operational reporting and investor communications while leading the investment administration team.

Responsibilities

• People Leadership & Team Management: Lead and coach the investment administration team, manage workloads and ensure timely deliverables.
• Operational Oversight & Execution: Oversee transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, transfers, and commission processing.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Drive initiatives to streamline workflows, improve data quality and introduce automation.
• Relationship Development: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
• Ongoing Operations: Monitor subscription processes, maintain electronic databases, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.

Requirements

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, 5-7 years of fund administration experience, exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. Candidates must have an understanding of exempt market products, transfer agency operations, and be proficient in MS Office. Experience with fund administration systems, Salesforce, and Power BI is an asset. Completion of the exempt market dealer course within six months is required.
