The Salesforce Intern Role

Join Centric Consulting's National Operating Group as a Salesforce Intern within our Salesforce Practice. This summer internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the Salesforce platform and work on delivering Salesforce Cloud solutions to our clients. Our program includes self-guided learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities with leadership. You will be provided with the tools needed to pursue your Salesforce Administrator Certification, a crucial step in building a career within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Salesforce Intern will be driven by client assignments and projects, and may include:

  • Conducting technical research and making recommendations.
  • Performing information and data modeling.
  • Developing proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with Centric’s project team members to achieve valuable outcomes.
  • Participating in client-facing project kickoff and ongoing status meetings to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Working with team members, and occasionally clients, to define project scope and approach.
  • Structuring and presenting recommendations to internal teams and, when appropriate, to clients.
  • Managing time effectively across multiple clients and projects as needed.
  • Documenting system configurations and administrative processes.
  • Staying informed about new Salesforce features and functionality and recommending process improvements.
  • Assisting in supporting sales proposals, Statements of Work, and RFP responses.
  • Contributing to the development of build-out materials, case studies, marketing and sales collateral, and internal processes.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and passionate about solving complex business problems using the Salesforce cloud-based platform. Your ability to quickly grasp new concepts will be key to helping us achieve our goals.

Skills and Experiences

  • Exposure to or experience with a cloud-based platform or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and systems independently.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a project team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference for candidates located local to the National Salesforce team in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton, Ohio area.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations, or Management.
  • Preferred expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
  • Rising juniors with one year of experience within their major will be considered.
  • Applicants must have US work authorization that does not require future visa sponsorship.
