About the role
Nurse Practitioner Telemedicine - Remote
Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine services to nursing homes across multiple states. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while serving nursing facilities nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess previous skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure the delivery of quality care services respectfully and professionally.
- Contribute to physician effectiveness by identifying and addressing patient care issues, providing information, recommending actions, and implementing directives.
- Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Document patient care services accurately in patient and department records.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including prescribing medication.
- Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
- Provide continuity of care through patient management plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by following infection control policies and protocols.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, advising management on necessary actions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and professional engagement.
- Develop healthcare team staff by providing educational opportunities and fostering growth.
- Contribute to team success by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Availability for 3 x 12-hour shifts (AM or PM).
- Licensing required in NY, NJ, GA, TX, PA, AL, & MO.
