Position Overview

Centene Corporation is looking for a Lead Global Security Operations Center Operator to ensure the safety and security of our 28 million members. In this office-based role located in Clayton, MO, you will oversee GSOC shift operations, coordinate incident response, and manage physical security systems and identity management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct frontline, intermediate, and advanced monitoring and response activities.
• Oversee GSOC staff and coordinate incident response operations.
• Administer physical security systems and support identity management programs.
• Analyze incoming data and communicate status of physical security systems.
• Assist in project coordination, training, and compliance with all policies.

Required Experience & Education

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combined with industry experience in Physical or IT/Cyber Security is required. At least 5 years of related experience, including GSOC operations or similar roles, is essential. Preferably, candidates will have exposure to physical security access control, CCTV, and crisis management platforms.

Licenses & Certifications

Candidates must be able to obtain a St. Louis City & County Security Officer License upon hire, as well as one of the following within a year: ASIS International certifications (PSP, APP, CPP) or identity management certifications (CAMS, CIAM, GIAC, GSOC, GSOM).

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range is $22.79 - $38.84 per hour with competitive benefits including health insurance, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
