Position Purpose
The Cloud Security Incident Response Analyst Intern will assist the Cloud Incident Response Team in triaging cloud security alerts generated by Wiz. The role supports cross-cloud response improvement and active threat hunting for overly permissive policies, and it partners with in-house detection engineering to enhance alert detection and tuning.
Duties
- Support enrichment and contextual analysis of cloud alert investigations
- Assist in validating runbooks and playbooks related to incident response
- Gain day-to-day experience with a Fortune 22 Cloud Incident Response team
Skills
- Cloud computing knowledge in AWS and/or Azure
- Exposure to cybersecurity principles
- Self-starter with strong communication
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably in a field related to cybersecurity or cloud computing.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range is $18-26/hour. Centene offers competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k), stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and flexible work approaches including remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules. Additional incentives may apply based on individual qualifications.
