Salesforce Developer and Administrator
General Overview
Celestica is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer/Administrator for a hybrid role in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is within the Information Technology (ITM) functional area, specifically in the IT Solutions (SOLN) career stream as a Senior Specialist. The role focuses on shaping the future of Celestica's Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) with opportunities to leverage industry solutions like Manufacturing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Next.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Business Transformation leader to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Work with external System Integrators (SIs) to ensure implemented solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Develop custom objects, fields, workflow rules, validation rules, list views, and page layouts based on user requirements.
- Create declarative flows and screen flows to meet end-user needs.
- Assist in establishing organization-wide protocols for optimal Salesforce utilization.
- Maintain integrations with both on-site and cloud-based platforms in conjunction with internal/external teams.
- Manage system security, including sharing rules, role hierarchies, and field-level security.
- Ensure all Salesforce changes adhere to Celestica's internal processes and best practices.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies, collaborating with vendors to implement new features, upgrades, and patches.
- Design, implement, and manage Salesforce solutions post-initial deployment, including customizations, integrations, and data migrations.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as user setup, and maintenance of roles, security, and profiles.
- Monitor and report on system issues, configuration, and maintenance processes.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to meet project and user requirements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum of Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer 2 certification is a strong plus.
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and development tools (Apex, Aura Components, SOQL, Lightning Web Components).
- Proficiency in declarative automation tools like Flow Builder and Lightning App Builder.
- Experience with DevOps processes (e.g., Agile) and tools (e.g., Azure ADO, Gearset).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Manufacturing Cloud and/or CRM Analytics is a strong plus.
Additional Information
- This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- The salary range is $86,000 - $130,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
- Requires 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with a proven track record in solution design, development, and administration.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Gearset, or Copado is expected.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
