Role Mission
Detect, validate, and lead product opportunities through direct contact with the market, clients, and the sales process, translating real needs into prioritized strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for connecting business, market, and product, actively influencing the roadmap and feeding the Product Squad and Product Owner with high-impact proposals for execution.
What you will do day-to-day
- Strategic Discovery and Market Contact
- Actively participate in the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, demos, negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
- Detect real market needs through direct interaction with enterprise clients.
- Lead continuous research: user interviews, competitor analysis, benchmarks, and trends.
- Gather and systematize feedback from current clients, prospects, and partners.
- Identify market opportunities and convert them into validated product hypotheses.
- Product Definition and Conceptual Design
- Construct customer journeys, service blueprints, and experience maps.
- Define differentiating value propositions per segment or use case.
- Develop business cases that support product investments.
- Conceptualize solutions before their entry into the technical backlog.
- Ensure alignment with product vision and architecture.
- Product Strategy and Positioning
- Define and evolve product positioning in the market.
- Analyze competition and trends (mobility, smart cities, sustainability, data platforms).
- Actively influence the definition and evolution of the roadmap.
- Propose and defend strategic priorities based on data and business opportunity.
- Prioritization and Leadership within the Squad
- Present validated initiatives with market context, expected impact, and solution vision.
- Participate in the strategic prioritization of the Squad, contributing the voice of the customer.
- Work with the Product Owner on the transition to functional requirements.
- Ensure that the business context is maintained during execution.
- Cross-functional Coordination and Go-to-Market
- Collaborate with the commercial area on sales materials, arguments, and demos.
- Align with marketing messages, campaigns, and positioning.
- Act as a strategic link between the market and the technical team.
- Coordinate with enterprise clients and technology partners.
- Impact Measurement and Learning
- Define business-oriented impact metrics: adoption, conversion, retention, NPS, value per client.
- Design and lead validation experiments (concept tests, pilots, commercial MVPs).
- Analyze real usage data and post-launch feedback.
- Provide feedback to the product strategy and roadmap.
