Position Overview

The Director Medical Science Liaison New England reports to the Senior Director, Eastern US Field Medical. This role is responsible for scientific exchange with Health Care Providers and key decision makers including KOLs, managed care, payers, and formulary committees about Celcuity’s products and relevant disease states in support of clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate professional relationships with KOLs in designated tumor types.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, market access, and clinical development.
  • Develop synergistic relationships to expand research and educational partnerships.
  • Assist in identifying potential clinical trial sites and troubleshoot trial issues as needed.
  • Develop scientific expertise on Celcuity’s products and related disease states.
  • Communicate complex scientific content clearly to varied audiences.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, SOPs, and guidance documents.
  • Deliver scientific training to internal colleagues and participate in Medical, Legal, and Regulatory reviews.
  • Identify and communicate key clinical insights regarding assigned disease states and products.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold an MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent in Life Sciences. Solid tumor oncology experience, excellent presentation skills, and at least 3 years of related pharmaceutical Medical Science Liaison experience (with breast cancer experience preferred) are required. Experience in clinical research design, GCP in oncology, and working with small/start-up biopharmaceutical companies is essential. Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to manage territory resources and budgets are key.
