About the Role

The Telecomm Operator II Part-Time Weekends Evenings role at Cedars-Sinai offers an opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment where innovation and a passion for service drive excellence in patient care, research, and community service.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Answer and advise all incoming and outgoing telephone calls using a computer-based PBX Smart Console.
  • Process calls to the Medical Center's main telephone number.
  • Handle patient location calls and respond to emergency calls and codes.
  • Monitor alarms, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with Security and Clinical Staff.
  • Support after-hours departmental administrative telephone lines promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum six months experience in a call center, doctor's front office, or answering service.
  • Strong communication skills, both listening and speaking clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Typing speed of 35-45 WPM is preferred.
