About The Role

As a Senior Data Governance Manager at CBRE, you will incubate and establish a leading-edge global Data Governance function to support CBRE business segments, corporate functions, and Digital & Technology stakeholders. You will liaise with CBRE clients and account teams to provide strategic direction on data governance programs, best practices, master data management, and data quality improvements using advanced tools.

You will collaborate with and lead high performing data governance and data management professionals, support data strategy execution via CBREs enterprise data platform, serve as the champion for strategic data products, and implement data ownership and stewardship programs.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in strategy, planning, and execution for Enterprise Data Governance focusing on the BOE segment.
  • Provide leadership in a large, complex global organization while communicating across all levels.
  • Build relationships and lead high-performing teams worldwide, attracting and developing top talent.
  • Collaborate across business segments and regions to create consistent data governance capabilities and influence policy decisions.
  • Establish data management practices for quality, provisioning, metadata, lineage, and change management.
  • Implement data governance as commodity services across various clients and industries.
  • Define data domains, set up oversight structures with RACI, and establish standards, policies, and controls.
  • Create frameworks for data quality reporting, issue remediation, and compliance monitoring.
  • Guide client account transitions to adopt strategic data products and support expanding business intelligence needs.
  • Lead innovative initiatives in big data, cloud computing, IoT, data virtualization and more.
  • Develop metrics and communication strategies including board-level presentations.
