About The Role
As a CBRE Mail Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the mailroom operations including loading dock for a campus.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise personnel assigned to mail services, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, cross-training staff for shipping/receiving, and evaluating performance.
- Conduct personnel meetings regarding safety, procedures, and operations.
- Maintain records of mailing costs for each business unit or department and implement cost savings programs.
- Maintain policy and procedural manuals for mailroom operations, recommending changes and informing staff.
- Monitor on-line production/copy requests, set up conference rooms, and handle telephone inquiries professionally.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- Establish new techniques to ensure the team meets objectives and positively impacts customer outcomes.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and guide the team through practices and procedures.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within mail services, with basic knowledge of related functions.
- Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information clearly.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills and a master-level inquisitive mindset.
