Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and share knowledge.
• Recommend improvements to internal procedures.
• Identify business opportunities for clients and CBIZ.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and proactively communicate solutions.
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables and perform final review for quality control.
• Participate in new client development, presentations and proposal development.
• Understand client’s Qualified Plan needs.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff with effective communication.
• Conduct performance feedback and evaluations to develop a responsible team.
• Drive a positive team environment and support management decisions.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred and Minimum Qualifications

Preferred: Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.

Required: Bachelor's degree, 8 years experience in public accounting or related field, 5 years supervisory, active CPA or equivalent certification, strong communication skills, proficiency in applicable technology, and ability to travel as needed.
