About the Role

At CBC/Radio-Canada, we create content that informs, entertains and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. As the Supervisor, Digital Development Digital Strategy And Product English Services, you will lead the development of our core content and metadata services. You will directly coach a team of 5-6 developers and work with architects to design sustainable solutions for large-scale data challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of creative, passionate developers.
  • Drive technical strategy using modern technologies like Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL.
  • Implement sustainable REST API endpoints and automated test cases.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team operating in a Scrum environment.
  • Champion software development best practices and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Minimum five years in a senior development role, including two in leadership.
  • Expertise in Java, REST API development, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and quality engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for digital innovation.
  • Degree or diploma in Software Development, Computer Science, or related field.
