Overview
CBC/Radio-Canada is searching for a Premier ou première designer Services anglais to create distinctive visual content that informs, entertains, and connects Canadians across multiple platforms. This role involves both independent work and collaboration, ensuring adherence to established design standards while offering creative freedom.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop unique visual concepts to illustrate content.
- Create original design material using advanced storytelling and graphic design skills.
- Modify existing designs and improvise as needed.
- Design static and animated visuals, including logos, typography layouts, signage, and print/digital publications.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in photo sessions.
- Recommend and test new creative methods and approaches.
- Contribute to programming and service objectives and provide creative communication of ideas.
- Mentor colleagues when necessary and perform related tasks.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least three years of directly related experience and a diploma in graphic design, animation, or a relevant field. A good understanding of content production is required, along with strong design and communication skills. A potential candidate may undergo skills tests as part of the evaluation process.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement (mix of telework and onsite work). The main on-site location is at the Broadcast Centre, 205 Wellington St. W., Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3G7.
