About the Role
The Data Governance Analyst - Privacy and Data Team at CBC/Radio-Canada works on implementing a Consent Management Platform (CMP) across digital products. This role contributes to designing, developing, and maintaining data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as in-house expert on the CMP for stakeholders.
- Assume the data steward role and support data governance standards.
- Identify and document business and user requirements.
- Analyze processes and recommend tailored solutions.
- Coordinate E2E testing and project activities.
- Support CMP reporting and vendor management.
- Develop and maintain the Audience Data Guide and related documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Three or more years’ experience in a similar role with expertise in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence). Experience in data governance, quality improvement initiatives, and working knowledge of Consent Management and Privacy by Design principles are required. Bilingual skills (EN/FR) are considered an asset.
Work Arrangement & Other Details
This 18-month contract position is hybrid, with a mix of in-office and remote work. Location is at the Broadcast Centre in Toronto, Ontario. A background check, including a Criminal record check, is required.
