Position Overview

The Data Governance Analyst - Privacy and Data Team will support the implementation of a Consent Management Platform (CMP) and help develop data governance policies, standards, and procedures. You will liaise between business teams, technical leads, and UX leads while contributing to product development, E2E testing, project coordination, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the in-house CMP expert for business, product, and implementation teams.
  • Assume the data steward role and support evolving data governance standards.
  • Identify and document business and user requirements and analyze existing processes.
  • Communicate requirements clearly and support end-to-end testing and CMP reporting.
  • Assist with vendor management and maintain documentation including our Audience Data Guide.
  • Support user retention strategies and provide ongoing CMP maintenance support.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Three or more years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in media industry is an asset.
  • Post-secondary credentials in business analysis, marketing, management, or related fields.
  • Expertise in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality improvement, and Consent Management principles.
  • Bilingual capability (English required, French is an asset).

Additional Information

This is an 18-month contract position offered as a hybrid role with both in-office and remote work. The primary location is the Broadcast Centre at 205 Wellington St. W., Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3G7. Background checks including a Criminal record check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
